As long as you are running WinIP or other ThatIP client software, your hostname will be updated immediately following any change in your Internet address. Our name servers will instantly switch to your new address. Delays in accessing your host will only be due to individual ISPs caching of addresses. This caching can be configured by modifying your hostnames' time-to-live settings.
